Positive Futures are pleased to announce that we are one of several local youth projects to benefit from government and the Big Lottery funding over the next three years as part of the Youth Investment Fund. In total 86 projects nationally have become beneficiaries from this funding to enable the expansion of sports projects, create youth clubs, and increase the provision of support and guidance services for young people.

“The Youth Investment Fund has enabled Positive Futures to secure our continued engagement, and invest in the futures of young people in Liverpool equipping them with new skills and providing new experiences to inspire. Our enhanced income will allow us to grow, to employ and create new enterprises to reach more young people so they can build a positive future for themselves.”
The funding has already enabled us at Positive Futures to begin to build our team for our continued growth. We are currently recruiting for Sessional Detached Youth Development Workers to join our dedicated team, to help us fulfil our pledge to increase our youth engagement through co-ordinated street detachment.
With the appointment of our newest Youth Development Worker,Tom Coates, we are reaching toward our first milestone to expand the scope of our Youth Development provision to include new areas in which to engage with young people.
