Foundation Festival @ Constellations

To help launch our Foundations Project we celebrated with an unforgettable evening, featuring fabulous food, incredible entertainment and unrivalled opportunities to get dressed-up.

We were delighted so many of our friends, partners and young peope could join us to celebrate in style at the stunning venue,  Constellations, in Baltic Triangle, Liverpool.

The arrival of The Glitter Girls help set the mood for the night, transforming all the guests. It wasn’t long before everyone had a hint of sparkle….ready for the ultimate selfie opportunity in the Pixel photo booth.

Layla Murray, Foundation Festival Co-ordinator/ Youth Development Worker said:

“The Foundations Launch was a great success. Fantastic to see the young people involved in the Foundations Project come together in one place and enjoy themselves so much.

The entertainment was definitely the highlight of the evening…with MC Tom Coates, our Tuebrook Youth Development Worker, special guest DJ Helen, our Anfield Youth Development Worker, vocals from local talented singer Shea Dolin,  the awesome MD Dance Productions, the stunning strength of Capoeira and more.

“We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of the Foundations Project; we will definitely be shouting about the accomplishments of the young people at each of the project milestones.”

The funding has already enabled us to start to build our team. We are currently recruiting for Sessional Detached Youth Development Workers to help us increase our youth engagement. For information about joining our team as Sessional Detached Youth Development Workers click here.
