The Project
RIOT Coffeeneeded needed ecommerce functionality and needed to reflect the aesthetic of their shop. The team at RIOT Coffee also required print work and branding to accompany the new site.
Design
The design process was aided by the general look of the shop itself, the only requirements from the team was the use of colour. We opted to use a bold display font for the branding and used a combination of colours a layers to build the logo out. The branding was then used on signage, café barriers, awning and all print materials.
Development
WordPress was a solid choice for the site, RIOT Coffee wanted to maintain and update the site themselves so new products and content could be added. Woocomerce was used for the online ordering section which allows users to build their own cake and place orders for occasions.
Outcome
The physical shop looks a standout property in the area they are based, the team there are regularly complimented on the overall look of the shop. The website itself has enabled customers to place orders and has allowed the team at RIOT Coffee to keep on top of online ordering which they struggled with prior.
