Finance firm Sedulo raise £3,000 to support Positive Futures Liverpool

Finance experts Sedulo have recently joined forces with youth development charity Positive Futures to help support their #WinterWarmer and Positive Futures Library campaigns.

The #WinterWarmer campaign aims to ensure that no child in North Liverpool goes cold this Winter, by giving them free pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers. To date, the charity has received countless donations from the local community, as well as monetary donations from local businesses and organisations to support this initiative. Sedulo’s support and kind donation has been a huge boost for this campaign, which to date, has supported many families.

The Positive Futures Library launches on National Book Day 2021 and aims to support mental health and well-being in young people. A staggering 58% of respondents cited loneliness or isolation as the cause of their mental health issues in a recent survey conducted by YoungMinds, and the library aims to address this. It will give young people a place to visit, choose a book and even share their thoughts with other young people. Reading not only provides a great sense of escapism, but also encourages reading skills and creative thinking – something that many young people may have been lacking due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.

Positive Futures Liverpool will now use the donation from Sedulo to support even more young people across North Liverpool.

Clare Corran, CEO of Positive Futures Liverpool said;

“We are so thankful to the whole team at Sedulo who have worked so hard to support us. They are a business committed to giving back, and run countless fundraising drives every year, so we are delighted that they chose us as one of the beneficiaries of their efforts. Their support really will help us to change the lives of even more young people, having a long-term impact that is almost impossible to measure.”

Any businesses who wish to support Positive Futures can do so via their website, or alternatively, contact the team.
